Music has always been the place where I tell the truth — the things that are sometimes too hard to say out loud. It’s where emotion becomes melody, and where life’s hardest, most beautiful moments find a voice.

I believe songs are more than just sound. They are stories, memories, heartbreak, healing, and hope woven together in a way that connects us. Every lyric I write comes from real emotion and lived experience — the raw, honest, and unfiltered parts of being human.

My hope is that when you listen, you don’t just hear the music — you feel the story behind it. Every song I create carries pieces of love, loss, resilience, and faith. Every imperfect note, every crack in the voice, holds something real.

I’ve been writing songs since I was a small child, and songwriting has always been one of the deepest ways I make sense of the world. Rooted in classic country, with touches of contemporary folk and pop, my music is shaped by honesty, grit, vulnerability, and heart.

Whether I’m writing songs in the studio or working on my books, storytelling is at the center of everything I create. I continue to write every day, working on new music and connecting with listeners who value authenticity and the truth behind every song.

Thank you for being here, for listening, and for letting these songs become part of your story.

Please enjoy.

This song was written for a special someone whose son Dalton is graduating high school this year and he has enlisted in the United States Army, where I know he is going to make his momma proud. Dalton is her only child, and I feel the love she has for her son, and being scared for her son, and realizing her baby is all grown up, but no matter how old he gets, or how far he will travel, in her heart, he will always be her baby. Candy, this is for you.

Boots Go Left is a high-energy, female-led country album built for the dancefloor and beyond. Blending modern country production with line dance rhythms, bold storytelling, and undeniable attitude, the project captures the spirit of late nights, neon lights, and unapologetic confidence.

From crowd-ready anthems like “Raise Some Hell Tonight” and “Kicking Up Trouble” to the smooth atmosphere of “Neon Dust,” the album delivers movement, energy, and personality. It all leads to the emotional closer, “Hold Me Like It’s Over,” a powerful ballad that brings the night to a heartfelt finish.

Fun, fearless, and unforgettable—this is where boots hit the floor and feelings hit just as hard.

“555 Lubbock” was written in memory of three first responders whose lives were forever changed while serving others on January 11, 2020.

While responding to an accident on an icy road, Eric and Nick lost their lives that day. Matt survived the initial crash, but after a long and difficult journey, he later passed away on November 26, 2023.

This song was written to honor their courage, their sacrifice, and the legacy they left behind. It is a tribute to the men who answered the call, showed up when others needed help most, and paid the highest price while doing their job.

But “555 Lubbock” is more than a memorial. It is also a message.

A reminder to slow down. A reminder to move over. A reminder that when you see flashing lights on the side of the road, someone’s husband, Wife, Daughter, son, father, brother, sister or friend is standing there doing their job — and they deserve to make it home.

This song was written so people can hear it, feel it, remember them, and maybe think twice the next time the road is dangerous and emergency lights are flashing.

Because legacy lives on when names are remembered. And some stories should never be forgotten.
